My Mission

The core of my mission is quality and reliability.  Each trophy brought to my shop will receive the utmost attention and artistry that it deserves.  From the very beginning, my focus has not been about quantity, but rather the highest quality of work that I can produce in a timely manner.  Memories can last a lifetime, and so should your trophy.

My Story

Small Beginnings

The outdoors has always been my playground and passion.  Growing up in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, I was afforded the ability to spend every waking hour in the wilderness, or on the lakes and streams.  Most of this time was spent hunting, fishing, and trapping with my father, grandfather and my two brothers.  From catching frogs in the swamps to grinning through the Wisconsin November elements attempting so set up a large spread of diver decoys, mother nature and its critters always seemed to amaze me.

When I was around ten years old, I took an interest in the art of taxidermy and how it can tell a memory, or story, in just a single still pose.  At the age of 12, I was having thoughts about what I could do when I was "grown up" and decided to shadow a local taxidermist.  The art of taxidermy amazed me at the time and I can still very clearly recall the time spent in the shop, but somehow, through life events and being in my youth, I shifted my education and career focus.

After high school, I proceeded onto college where my love for animals landed me an education and career in Animal Science.  A large part of my career was spent studying animal behavior and health which has helped me understand animals in their natural state and how they should look when brought back to life as a trophy.  My free time still consisted of hunting, fishing, and trapping throughout the years and I had the opportunity to hunt across much of North America and even Africa.  Once I settled into my career path, I decided to revisit my long lost interest of taxidermy in 2017. At that time, I did not know much about taxidermy, but had a large depth in knowledge on live animal appearances.  Upon completion of my very first mount, I knew it was going to be a long-term addiction for me.

Over the past 6 years, I spent continued countless hours studying live references and animal behaviors, in hopes to capture realistic moments in time to bring life back to a trophy.  Taxidermy is a unique form of art, with endless amounts of imagination and creativity.  My goal is to recreate each customers trophy to help tell the story of great memories spent in the outdoors.
